Located in Walla Walla, Washington is an 88-acre campus composed of multiple buildings in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs' mission to provide health care, education, training, counseling and other services to America's Veterans and their families. VA proposed a new, multi-specialty care outpatient clinic and other facility renovations to buildings in order to enhance the quality of medical services at the Walla Walla VAMC campus. As subcontractors to the Allegiance Group, The Clark Group developed a tiered environmental assessment of the building to house the outpatient clinic on behalf of VA.
U.S. CUSTOMS AND BORDER PROTECTION
CBP wanted to institute a new border station program, the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative, across the United States to include new policies for inspection and a new technology system for monitoring and improved security. The Clark Group conducted a national-level multidisciplinary, programmatic Environmental Assessment of the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI) rule at 165 border stations on the U.S.-Canada and U.S.-Mexico borders to determine the potential environmental impacts resulting from regulatory changes to immigration processes.
